Personal bio of Parker Sullivan, Banjo’s breeder: Growing up in the conservative South, the oldest of six boys, was pretty wild. Weekends and holidays were spent on the coast surfing or upstate on the family tobacco farm. After completing my B.A. in Fine Arts, I packed my car for a one way venture west in search of ‘greener pastures,’ shall we say. Sonoma County drew me in with its amazing surf, emphasis on organic farming, and overall sensibility for the land. I’ve always had a deep respect for plants and their medicinal properties. This passion ultimately led me to pursue my postgraduate degree as a Master Herbalist. With an engrained understanding of row-cropping tobacco in the Carolinas, I assimilated quickly into the Californian cannabis scene. It wasn’t long, thereafter, that I began dabbling into my own cross-pollinations of cultivars. In 2014, I created Banjo, now a well-known cultivar in commercial cannabis which mind-blowingly enough Leafly ranked as one of the top 5 strains of 2020.

First looks: First of all, the tube idea to keep all 3 containers in is absolutely brilliant! It was super seamless to open, and all 3 jars are stacked on top of each other starting with Banjo on the top! To indicate which jar is which they added a sticker on the bottom of each jar. Opening the jar I was wafted with this tropical rush in my face 🍍🌴 and this beautiful bright green nugs that are coated with beautiful little trichomes, they were honestly so pretty I didn’t want to break then 🥺 but the terpenes were what struck me the most, nugs we’re also soooooo sticky and moist from being incredibly fresh! Overall 10/10! Amazing job!! 🔥
Smoke appeal: Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh!!!! I normally pack fat bowls right to the rim, but with this one I definitely could’ve done only half of that. The terpenes were mouth watering, I was honestly worried because of the lineage that this might be an overly powerful tangy strain but I was wrong! I really enjoyed it 🤤 the high is definitely a video game couch lock type of high and that’s how I can actually focus so well while doing this review 😂 Overall 10/10 for this beautiful smoke!
